All six Mexico High School girls tennis players earned All-District honors at the District Tournament played in Mexico, on Saturday 30th.
Mexico High School head coach Kim Costley says “There are only 8 all-district positions and we took 4.
It was a very exciting day and we had several intense matches.
We played some of our best tennis of the year.
Katie had very challenging matches, drawing 2 Lutheran players, and she showed a lot of maturity in her play.
Katie placed 1st and qualified for sectionals Saturday, October 7th.
Lucy & Alice keep getting better every week and upset Palmyra their first round.
Jyllian battled for 3rd as she played Fulton for the 3rd time in 2 weeks.
Lutheran has a tough team and we will play them on Monday in team districts.”
