The Mexico Lady Bulldogs Softball team defeated Hannibal 5-2 on Wednesday night.
It was the final home game of the season and it was senior night.
Senior Karlee Sefrit put the Lady Bulldogs on the board in the bottom of the first with a single.
Hannibal would tie the game in the top of the third.
Then Mexico took the lead back in the bottom of third when Maddy Feger hit into a fielder’s choice, and Hannah Loyd hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring a run.
Brooke Teel led the Lady Bulldogs offense with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.
Emma Cunningham earned the win for Mexico, going seven innings and striking out five batters.
Up next Mexico travels to Fulton tonight (Thursday), to play the final game of the regular season.
