Several teams remain alive in the high school football playoffs after games on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Starting off with the Class 1 District 2 semifinals Van-Far had their season come to an end with a 42-6 loss to St. Vincent.

Marceline was edged out by Milan in the Class 1 District 4 semifinal 26-21.

Father Tolton is moving on in Class 2 winning the District 3 championship 40-7 over Warsaw.

In a battle of the undefeated Bowling Green beat South Shelby 66-50 in the Class 2 District 7 championship game.

Blair Oaks is moving on defeating Moberly 59-7 to claim the Class 3 District 4 title.

Hannibal took out Warrenton 55-32 and advance as the Class 4 District 4 champs.

The Jefferson City Jays outlasted Pleasant Hill 37-34 in the Class 4 District 5 championship.

Helias won big over Capital City 41-6 in the Class 5 District 5 title game.

And Rock Bridge claimed the Class 6 District 4 Championship with a 38-7 victory against Troy Buchanan.

The Missouri men’s basketball team fell to visiting Memphis 70-55 last (Friday) night at Mizzou Arena.

Sean East led the Mizzou in scoring with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting, as well as chipping in a pair of assists and a steal.

The loss drops Mizzou to 1-1, while Memphis remains unbeaten at 2-0.

Missouri complete its early three-game home-stand on Monday, hosting SIU Edwardsville at 7pm.

In college football today (Saturday), the 14th ranked Missouri Tigers will host the 13th ranked Tennessee Volunteers.

Both teams are 7-2 on the season.

The Volunteers are listed as 2.5 point favorites, while the over/under is at 58.5 points.

Kickoff at Faurot Field is set for 2:30 this afternoon.

The St. Louis Blues hit the road in hockey tonight (Saturday) when they play the Colorado Avalanche.

Puck drops at 8:00pm.
