Mexico Woman Taken To Hospital With Injuries Following Accident In Callaway County

A Mexico woman is recovering from moderate injuries following a two-car-accident in Callaway County during the morning hours of Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened at the 153.8 mile marker when 20-year-old Dianne Lain was driving her 2002 Ford F150 on eastbound I-70 and attempted to use the emergency turn around.

Lain’s truck hit a 2020 Freightliner headed westbound.

Lain was taken by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Freightliner was not injured.

Both vehicles were declared totaled and were towed away by Kendall’s Towing.
