The Mexico School District was awarded a grant in the amount of $22,400 this week.
The grant money was awarded from the A.P.Green Foundation and will be used to purchase sensory items in the Mexico School District.
The initiative is called Sensory Integration to Help All Students Learn.
Anne Ekern, representative for the AP Green Foundation presented the check to Dr. Anne Billington, McMillan Principal, Melissa Deimeke, and Director of Special Education.
