Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 53-year-old Lee Harrell Jr. on Friday, December 8, for a Boone County warrant.
34-year-old Robert A Brashear was arrested on Saturday, December 9, for Resisting Arrest.
31-year-old Darren E. Gooch was arrested on Sunday, December 10, for Fourth Degree Domestic Assault.

- Domestic verbal incident on South Western/Yale and at West Maple.
- Attempted stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.

- Stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.
- Property damage on South Clark.
- Bomb threat investigated at 639 North Wade.
- Careless and imprudent driver on East Liberty.
- Attempted burglary at East Monroe.

- A reported kidnapping on Hanley/Olive.
- Suspicious person at East Monroe.
- Property damage on Yale.
- Child abuse or neglect at West Monroe.
- Domestic physical incident on Sierra Street/Savannah Court.
- Suspicious vehicle at Carrico and Margretta.
- Unwanted subject on North Washington.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls on Sunday, December 10, 2023:
- Domestic physical incident at Quantico Road.
- Domestic verbal incident on North Western.
- Runaway juvenile at Marine Drive.
- Suspicious vehicle on M. Dauber Lane/Huntingfield Road.
- Intoxicated person driving at Marine Drive.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Clark at Boulevard on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Allysa Smith of Mexico was sitting at intersection of South Clark and Boulevard and rear ended by a vehicle driven by 80-year-old Joan Fecht of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
