Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, December 13, 2023:
- Suspicious noise on East Holt and at South Mississippi and at the Carson apartment building.
- Careless and imprudent driver on Highway 22.
- Trespassing at Fairground Road.
- Property damage at the South Clark apartment building.
- Domestic verbal incident reported at the South Jefferson apartment building.
- Suspicious person on West Breckenridge Drive.
- Domestic physical incident at South Trinity.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Monroe at Western on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Judy Ellis of Mexico failed to yield while making a turn and was hit by a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Melissa Miller of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Jackson at Olive on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 87-year-old Velma Jones of Mexico drove into the lane of travel of a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Lewis Cranmer of Mexico causing a collision.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Alex Lopez of Columbia failed to keep a proper lookout while driving behind a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Mexico boy.
Lopez’s vehicle drove off the roadway to avoid a collision.
No injuries were reported.
