The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins 26-7 with near record low temperatures in a Wild Card playoff game at Arrow Stadium on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

It was negative four degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff, easily setting a record for the coldest game at Arrowhead Stadium and the fourth-coldest game in NFL history.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 262 yards, and found Rashee Rice eight times for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Isiah Pacheco ran for an angry 89 yards over the frozen turf and recorded a score.

Harrison Butker added four field goals for the reigning Super Bowl champs.

The Chiefs won their 15th consecutive home playoff game.

Up next Kansas City will head to Buffalo next week if the Bills beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday in a game pushed back a day by a blizzard.

Otherwise, the Chiefs, will host Houston, which beat the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.

The Missouri men’s basketball team fell in overtime, 71-69, to South Carolina Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.

Noah Carter led the Tigers with a season-high 23 points and amassed 20-plus points in back-to-back contests for the first time in his career. Sean East, added 15 points, while securing a career-best eight rebounds.

With the defeat, the Tigers move to 8-8 on the season and 0-3 in the SEC.
