Mexico Man And Madison Man Injured In Monroe County Accident

A Madison man has moderate injuries and a Mexico man with minor injuries following a one-car accident in Monroe County during the evening hours of Thursday, February 8, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Joseph L. Hancock of Madison went off the road, hit a utility pole and overturned.

Hancock was transported by Monroe County Ambulance/Air Evac to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

26-year-old Jacob T. Whitehead of Mexico had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
