Mexico Man Arrested For Second Degree Arson
A Mexico man is facing arson charges following a garage fire at a Mexico home on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the 800 block of West Liberty on Friday night and found flame coming from an unattached garage.
The fire was extinguished with the garage suffering serious damage.
None of the other nearby structures were damaged.
An investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Travis E. Saylor on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Saylor was processed at Mexico Public Safety and taken to the Audrain County Jail for Second Degree Arson.
Saylor suffered minor injuries from the fire.
No other injuries were reported.
