Ameren Missouri electric customers will see an increase on their bills soon.
The Missouri Public Service Commission approved a fuel adjustment charge for the utility company to recoup 95% of its fuel and purchased power costs between October 2020 and January 2021.
For a residential customer using a thousand kilowatt hours a month, the charge will change from around 26 cents to $3.08 per month.
The change is expected to take effect June 1st.
