Mexico Public Safety Department Report 4/18/2024

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Wednesday, April 17, 2024:

  • Harassment on North Clark and at North Calhoun.
  • Domestic physical incident on North Washington and at South Coal.
  • Suspicious person at West Monroe and on South Jefferson.
  • Trespassing at Quantico Road.
  • Assault without injury on West Boulevard.
  • Property damage at Amelia Drive.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on South Muldrow/Western.
  • Unlawful ATV operation at Arcadia/Bennington.

Car accidents:

No injuries reported in a two-car accident on Clark at Boulevard in Mexico on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Terry Rehma of Fulton and a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Nina Able of Mexico were merging south on South Clark from West Boulevard.

Abel’s vehicle rear-ended Rehma’s vehicle while turning onto South Clark.

 

No injuries reported following a two-car accident at 1115 Paris Road in Mexico on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Mexico Public Safety accident a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jessica Joiner of Mexico went to pass a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Matthew Ruffner of Mexico.

As Ruffner’s vehicle began to turn into a driveway, a collision happened with Joiner’s vehicle.
