Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service Tuesday, April 24, 2024:
- Suspicious activity on West Anderson.
- Property damage at Adams Street.
- Trespassing on East Jackson and at North Clark.
- Stealing or theft at 629 East Liberty.
- Suspicious person on East Holt.
- Threats at MacFarlane.
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
- Careless and imprudent driver on South Calhoun.
- Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle at South Washington/Central.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a two-car accident on Clark at Boulevard in Mexico on Tuesday, April 23,2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 72-year-old Mary Shafer of Mexico was sitting at the intersection and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Mexico boy.
No injuries following a two-car accident in the 1400 block of Southwest on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Bethany Henson of Mexico was backing out of a driveway and backed into an approaching vehicle driven by 71-year-old Aletha Taylor of Mexico.
