Thousands of dollars in scholarships were awarded to students during the FFA Awards Banquet held at Community R6 in Laddonia on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

The Clint Deimeke Foundation Outdoor Trap Shooting Scholarship recipient for the 2023/2024 school year was Mason Rohan.
He is pictured here, accepting the $500 scholarship from Nicki Poindexter.
Mason is continuing his trap shooting sport at State Fair Community College.

Six Community R6 students were awarded $1000 scholarships from the Audrain County Cattlemen’s Association.
These students showed a commitment to agriculture, an interest in the beef industry, and an excellent work ethic.
They are, from left to right: Aaron Carter, Dylan Hoyt, Brant Cope, Olivia Schafer, Zachary Love, and Mason Rohan.

Community R6 FFA advisor presented the Chris Stuckenschneider Memorial Scholarship to Aaron Carter.
This $500 scholarship is given in Chris’ memory. He was known for his dedication to farming and agriculture.
The award is given to a student who has a bright future in agriculture and wants to go into the production side of the industry.

Dawn Miller presented the winner of the Audrain Agribusiness Scholarship. The winner of the $500 scholarship was Zachary Love.




Through funds generated from the annual FFA Labor Auction, held earlier in the year, and other activities, the Community R6 FFA Alumni were able to offer scholarships to four students.
They were: Zachary Love, Brant Cope, Olivia Schafer, and Dylan Hoyt.
Cindy Fort presented the scholarships to the winners.

Michael Wagner, with the Audrain County Whitetails Unlimited presented a $1000 scholarship to Mason Rohan.

Michael Wagner, representing the Audrain County Whitetails Unlimited, presented a $1500 donation to the high school and junior high trap teams.
