Mexico Boys and Girls Basketball Drop Doubleheader at Home to the Moberly Spartans

The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams each dropped their games to the Moberly Spartans at the Mexico High School tonight (Tuesday).

The Mexico girls lost a heart breaker 32-31.

Logan Blevins led the lady dogs with 12 points followed by Regan Smith with 7.

The Mexico girls are now 7-8 overall and fall to 3-2 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

The Mexico Girls will play for third place in the Macon Tournament tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6 pm against the Macon Tigers.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys lost 62-52 to Moberly.

Mexico had the Spartan lead down to 5 in the fourth quarter, however could not close the gap.

Zach Watkins led the Bulldogs with 13 points.

While Jai Lawson and Isiah Reams each had 11 points.

Mexico boys next face the Boonville Pirates on Friday night.
