Mexico High Academic Team Brings National Recognition To Mexico, Missouri In PACE NSC Tournament

The Mexico High Academic Team finished in 36th place in a 72 team field at the Pace National Scholastic Championship.

The team competed in the national tournament in Reston, Virginia over the weekend.

Mexico finished as the 2nd ranked small school at the tournament.

And Mexico’s Camden Williams was ranked number 1 top individual scorer with 130 points per game.

The Mexico High Academic Team members that competed in the Pace National Scholastic Championship were Camden Williams, Carter Blackburn, Christian Frederickson, Dylan Reid and Lucita Gleeson.

One other milestone was reached over the weekend as Dale Schenewerk picked up win number 600 as head coach of the Mexico High Academic Team.

Mexico ends the season ranked 16th in the nation.
