The Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition is in the early stages of working on a new permanent home for the Room At The Inn in Mexico.
According to Phillip Iman with the coalition, the group has begun working with an architect to design a permanent home for the shelter.
Plans will be presented at the next coalition meeting and then contractors can be contacted for cost estimates.
Once a cost estimate is determined, a capital campaign can begin to raise funds to buy property and build the new structure.
