High Speed Chase Outside Of Fulton Of Leads To Two Arrests

An Indiana couple suspected of robbery were arrested by deputies following a high-speed chase outside Fulton during the afternoon hours of Monday, June 10, 2024.

Callaway County deputies were alerted to two robbery suspects traveling on U.S. Highway 54 near New Bloomfield just before 1pm.

Multiple deputies positioned themselves near State Road H, outside of Fulton, to intercept the vehicle.

The occupants identified as Christopher and Victoria Violes (Valla).

The vehicle initially stopped, allowing the female driver to switch seats with the male driver, who then fled from deputies.

During the pursuit, the vehicle struck a Missouri State Highway Patrol vehicle, which was not involved in the chase, at the corner of East Eighth Street and Bluff Street in Fulton.

The fleeing vehicle also struck two other vehicles.

No injuries were reported in any of the crashes.

Both of the suspects are currently being detained at the Callaway County Jail without bond.
