The St. Louis Cardinals swept out of the National League Championship Series losing 7-4 to the Washington Nationals last (Tuesday) night.
In the four games against Washington, the Cardinals never led once.
For the Nats it will be their first World Series Appearance.
The Cardinals are off now until Spring Training starts back up in Jupiter, Florida next year on February 22nd.
After a championship parade, and a Stanley Cup Tour around the world the St. Louis Blues completed their final celebration for winning a Stanley Cup Championship at the White House yesterday (Tuesday).
The Blues made a stop at the nation’s capitol following the completion of their 4 game, 10 day road trip to Canada and Long Island, New York.

Every current member of the Blues championship roster attended, as did former teammates Chris Butler and Chris Thorburn.
Blues Chairman Tom Stillman presented President Trump with a personalized St. Louis Blues jersey, and Alex Pietrangelo gave the President a putter featuring the Blues’ Stanley Cup champions logo in the Oval Office.
The Mizzou Women’s Basketball team is picked to finish 9th in the Southeastern Conference by a selected voting panel of both SEC and national media members.
Ranking in the top half of the poll was South Carolina, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and Auburn.
Last season, Mizzou earned its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament Berth.
