A new report from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission on Thursday, June 27, 2024, showed no concrete evidence that University of Missouri student Riley Strain was over-served alcohol on the night of his death in Nashville.
His death was ruled an accident drowning by medical examiners, who found his blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal driving limit in Tennessee at the time of his death.
Strain was missing for almost two weeks before he was found on March 22nd on the banks of the Cumberland River in West Nashville.
The new report says evidence shows Strain became intoxicated throughout the night.
Strain visited four bars with members of his fraternity, and he was kicked out of the bar Luke’s 32 Bridge.
Strain was only served one drink at the bar.
