An arrest has been made in a seven-year-old Gasconade County homicide case.
The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office says Daniel W. Russell of High Ridge was arrested Sunday and is charged with first-degree murder, abandonment of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence in the death of Michael Graham.
Graham was reported missing in 2019, and his remains were later found inside a plastic barrel along the Gasconade River.
Investigators say a review of the cold case after Sheriff Scott Eiler took office led to new evidence and Russell’s arrest.
Russell is being held without bond.
