Water service will be interrupted today, July 24, 2024, beginning at 8 AM to 3 PM, due to an gate valve
repair on the water main.
Customers affected for both locations are the following areas:
• 300 through 600 Blocks of Union Street.
• 600 through 700 Blocks of Bertley Street.
• All of Ruth Street
• All surrounding areas.
Water service will be restored once repairs are completed.
If you experience low water pressure, or have no water, in your area there will be a 48-hour boil advisory when water service is restored.
Customers in these areas are advised that due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system, the boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored.
During a Boil Advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.
