Mexico Public Safety Department Responds To Car Fire They Believe Was Intentionally Set
A investigation is underway by Mexico Public Safety after a suspicious car fire during the evening hours of Monday, August 26, 2024.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the 700 block of Singleton Street just before 6:30 on Monday night in reference to a car fire.
Responding personnel found a 2022 Hyundai Sedan with a large fire in the passenger compartment.
The fire was extinguished with the vehicle suffering extensive damage and the house it was parked next to suffering heat damage.
According to Mexico Public Safety an initial investigation indicates the fire was started as part of an ongoing disturbance between the people who use the vehicle.
There were no injuries from the incident.
