Mexico Man Accused Of Starting Dumpster Fire That Causes Damage To Several Buildings
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 39-year-old Nathan M. Sommer on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
Mexico Public Safety said they became aware of a dumpster fire, which had occurred in a downtown alley over the previous weekend.
It was determined the fire had burned itself out, but not before damaging the dumpster, another trash receptacle, and two buildings.
Investigation led to a suspect being identified and a case being forwarded to the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.
Sommers was arrested for a warrant for Knowingly Burning or Exploding.
Sommer was taken to the Audrain County Jail for the offense.
