Auxvasse Man Dies In Callaway County Vehicle Accident
An Auxvasse man is dead following a one-car accident in Callaway County during the afternoon hours of Saturday, August 31, 2024.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on I-70 westbound at the 154 mile-marker.
A motorcycle driven by 66-year-old James R. Moore began to skid for unknown reasons and traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Moore was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Callaway County EMS.
The body was taken to Maupin’s Funeral Home in Fulton.
