A Vandalia boy suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle accident in Monroe County during the morning hours of Saturday, September 28, 2024.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Highway 154, 1.5 miles east of Paris.
A 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C5OT driven by 35-year-old Gavin D. Frost of Vandalia traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Frost and his nine-year-old passenger were ejected.
Frost was uninjured in the accident.
The nine-year-old boy was taken St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Paris Fire Department and Monroe County Ambulance assisted in the accident.
