Community R6 Lady Trojans Softball Handles Knox County In Round One Of District Tournament

The Community R6 Lady Trojans handled Knox County with an 8-3 victory in Round 1 of the Class 1 District 4 bracket on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

The Lady Trojans offense was led by Myla Carroll who had two RBI and two hits.

Amy McCurdy had two hits. Rylee Rafferty, Jocelyn Curtis, Lydia Hoyt, and Aailyah Welch had one hit each respectively.

Peyton Schafer, Braelyn Kuda, Rafferty, Welch, and Carroll also had a stolen base each respectively.

Jocelyn Curtis was the winning pitcher.

Curtis struck out 10 batters.

Up next Community R6 will play North Shelby on Saturday, at 2:30pm in Laddonia.
