Mexico basketball hosts Moberly at the Mexico High School Sports Complex on Friday, Feb. 6, 2025.
AM 1340 KXEO will be broadcasting both the girls and boys varsity games.
A pre game interview with Mexico girls head coach Makenzie Mudd starts at 6pm.
The girls tip at 6:15, with the boys game to follow.

In high school basketball on 2/6/2025, starting off on the girls side the Centralia Lady Panthers cruised to a 69-21 victory over the Bowling Green Lady Bobcats.
The Centralia girls improved to 19-1 on the season.
Marceline defeated Westran 52-37.
Carrolton beat Tina-Avalon 75-25.
California bested Smith-Cotton 58-47.
Salisbury beat Glasgow 64-52.
Sturgeon girls defeated Wellsville-Middletown 37-27.
Mark Twain over Winfield 56-48.
Switching over to boys games it was Glasgow taking down Salisbury 53-43.
Westran dominated Marceline 72-35.

Battle High School is looking for its next head football coach.
ABC 17 Sports reports that Matthew Herman confirmed in an email yesterday (Thursday) that he is no longer serving as the head coach of Battle’s football program.
Herman served in the coaching position for the last two season, where he led the Spartans to a 4-16 overall record during that span.

University of Missouri women’s basketball fell short against 6th ranked LSU, losing 71-60 at Mizzou Arena last (Thursday) night.
Sophomore guard Grace Slaughter led Mizzou with 18 points, one rebound, one assist, and a career-high two blocks.
Up next the Mizzou women face Texas A&M at 3pm on Sunday.

The St. Louis Blues lost 3-2 to the Florida Panthers at the Enterprise Center. Florida scored the go-ahead goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation.

The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the final day of media availability yesterday (Thursday) as they get set for their Super Bowl matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters during the press conference that there are no injuries to speak of on his Chiefs squad.
Kickoff between the Chiefs and Eagles is set for 5:30 on Sunday.
