Travel impacts are expected for much of Wednesday, Feb. 12, as the National Weather Service predicts the potential for several inches of snow.
A quick dusting of up to two inches of snow is possible tonight (Monday) into tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, but a more impactful system arrives Wednesday, which will create much more difficult travel conditions.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued in northwest Missouri that includes areas from Macon to Moberly where the more significant snow totals are expected to be.
Snow totals will range between 4-7 inches, while locations along the I-70 corridor will land between 4-6 inches.
South of Highway 50 will be in the 3-5 inches range, while places near the Lake of the Ozarks are expected to get around 1-3 inches.
