Mexico High School Girls Wrestlers Alexus Johns And Abby Bowen Are State Bound

Mexico High girls wrestling team had two members punch their tickets to State after competing in Districts at St. Charles West High School on Friday and Saturday.

Alexus Johns conquered second place in the 235 weight class.

Abby Bowen finished in 3rd place at 135.

Bowen also reached a milestone while competing at Districts, picking up her 100th career varsity win.

Johns and Bowen will go on to compete at State on Feb. 26-27 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
