The Mexico High School boys and girls basketball teams had a successful road trip to the Moberly High School with twin varsity wins over the Spartans on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025.
Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Moberly Lady Spartans 64-42.
It was the third time this season the Mexico girls beat Moberly.
Claire Hudson put up 24 points in the victory.
Freshman Scottie Smith had a 12 point performance.
The Mexico girls improved to 11-11 overall and 5-3 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball completed a season sweep over Moberly with a70-37 victory,
Senior Jaydon Eldridge knocked down four-three pointers on his way to 21 points.
PJ Perkins finished with 14 points.
And Charlie Fisher put up 10 points.
Mexico improved to 18-6 overall and remained perfect in the North Central Missouri Conference at 8-0.
