Freeman Leaving Mexico Schools

After 10 year in the Mexico School District, Superintendent Kevin Freeman has accepted a poition with the Department of Elementary and Secondary education.

The decision was announced during a closed session of the Board of Education. The administration team was made aware yesterday according to a release, then the school district as a whole through an e-mail.

Freeman’s last day with the Mexico district will be June 30, when he will then begin his new role as Director of the Missouri School Improvement Program.
