A Mokane man died after being hit by a car in Callaway County during the morning hours of Saturday, Mar. 1, 2025.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened on Route C by Thornhill Drive, when a minivan driven by a 33-year-old man from Mokane struck a pedestrian, identified as a 72-year-old man from Mokane who was walking in the road.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Maupin Funeral Home.
The driver was not injured.
