Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 36-year-old Travis E. Saylor for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest, and Trespassing on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

33-year-old Shelby D. Briggs was arrested for Fourth Degree Assault on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

27-year-old Austin W. Terry was arrested for a Parole and Probation warrant on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

29-year-old Nickoluss S. Robinson was arrested for an Audrain County warrant, Boone County warrant, and a Camden County warrant on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

25-year-old Monterio M. Truss was arrested for First Degree Assault, Fourth Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, March 14, 2025:

  • Suspicious person on Grove and at Washington.
  • Domestic physical incident on North Mississippi.
  • Stealing or theft at 3800 South Clark and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Unwanted subject on South Western.
  • Trespassing at 3001 South Clark.
  • Careless and Imprudent Driver at 3602 South Clark.

Mexico Public Safety responded to these calls on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025:

  • Suspicious person at 4501 East Liberty and on West Whitley.
  • Trespassing on West Monroe.
  • Stealing or theft at West Monroe and at West Jackson.
  • Domestic physical incident on South Calhoun.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Sunday, Mar. 16, 2025.

  • Domestic verbal incident at South Olive.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on South Clark.
  • Ex-parte violation at North Washington and on MacFarlane.
  • Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
  • Trespassing on Garfield.
  • Suspicious person at West Breckenridge.
  • Suspicious vehicle on South Missouri.
  • Child abuse or neglect at Rivers Drive.

Car accidents:

Mexico Public Safety responded to two separate car accidents on Friday, Mar. 14, 2025.

A two-car accident at 508 West Monroe.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Brian Colbert was attempting to turn into a private business from North Washington when his cargo trailer struck the back of a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Raef Yager of Mexico.

No injuries were reported.

Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident at 117 South Washington.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Charlotte Fennewald of Wellsville attempted to reverse and parallel park when her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Amy Webber of Mexico.

No injuries were reported.
