Columbia man shot dead in Harrisburg
One man is dead after a standoff with deputies late Sunday night in Harrisburg.
According to a news release, overnight deputies responded to a domestic disturbance around 9 p.m., where they found a man with a gun.
The man reportedly refused to obey commands and made an aggressive move toward the deputies, at which point the officers opened fire.
The man has since been identified as 31-year-old Ty Lewis of Columbia, who died on the scene, and his next of kin have been notified.
