RAISE Program Connects Randolph County Residents to Local Jobs
A new initiative in Randolph County is linking residents with the workforce.
The Registered Apprenticeships in Skills and Education, or RAISE, launched last week to bridge the gap between the community and local jobs.
Open to all working individuals aged 16 and up, the program covers fields from health care and banking to manufacturing and retail.
The push comes as county trends shift: since 2000, population has declined 2.3%, and unemployment stood at 3.6% in January 2026, per the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
RAISE is a collaboration among the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation, Moberly Area Technical Center, Heart of Missouri Regional Professional Development Center, and Moberly Public Schools.
