Two Mid-Missouri residents are facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop in Eldon led to a methamphetamine bust.
Miller County deputies pulled over a car on Business 54 for minor traffic violations Thursday. Inside, they found nearly 29 grams of meth after a K-9 alerted officers to possible drugs.
The driver, Benjamin Stephenson of Henley, and passenger, Chrystal Morrison of Eldon, were both arrested.
Deputies allege Morrison tried to give a fake name and run from officers.
Court documents show both have prior drug-related convictions.
