Boone County Deputies looking for hit and run driver
Boone County authorities are hoping for the public’s help in finding a driver a hit and run driver.
The accident happened Sunday night about 6:45 p.m. when a 9-year-old girl was crossing the road in the 700 block of Demaret Drive east of Columbia. The child was taken to a hospital but was reportedly alert and talking at the scene
The vehicle being looked for is a red sedan, driven by a young woman, with a black dog inside. The car drove north on Hogan Drive after the accident.
