Two Injured In Crash Involving Callaway Patrol Vehicle

Two people are recovering after a crash involving a Callaway County Sheriff’s Office Patrol vehicle yesterday [Thursday] afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when 37 year old Deputy Curtis Hall was making a U-turn in the roadway with the emergency lights activated.


Hall was responding to a vehicle pursuit and shooting incident along Highway 54 when his cruiser was struck by a semi-truck driven by 30 year old Mathew Allen of Mexico.

Allen was treated at the scene for minor injuries by ambulance crews.

Deputy Hall was transported to University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
