The Missouri Tigers softball team lost 16-4 to LSU in game 2 of the series at Mizzou Softball Stadium.
Despite an early start where Missouri jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning highlighted by an Abby Carr two-run home run—the Tigers’ offense struggled for the remainder of the game.
LSU responded with an offensive onslaught, scoring in every inning from the second onward. They recorded season-highs in runs (16), hits (15), and home runs (4).

In College Baseball
The Missouri Tigers defeated the No. 24 Kentucky Wildcats 5–4 , to open their three-game series at Kentucky Proud Park
Missouri staged a dramatic ninth-inning rally to secure their first win in Lexington since 2021.
Trailing 4–3 entering the 9th, Keegan Knutson led off with a double, and redshirt freshman Donovan Jordan drove him in with a go-ahead single.
The Tigers tallied eight hits against Kentucky starter Jaxon Jelkin, who entered the game with a perfect 6–0 record. Blaize Ward went 2-for-4, extending his on-base streak to 12 games.

The St. Louis Blues defeated the Anaheim Ducks 6–2 keeping their playoff hopes alive
The Blues took control of the game at the Honda Center, led by Dylan Holloway, who scored two power-play goals.
Robert Thomas also contributed significantly with one goal and two assists.
Despite the loss, the Ducks remained tied for first place in the Pacific Division.

In front of a capacity crowd at Comerica Park, left-handed starter Framber Valdez (1–0) earned the win in his Tigers home debut, pitching six scoreless innings and allowing just three hits.
Dillon Dingler broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with a 433-foot two-run home run, the longest of his career.
