Columbia Man Gets 20 Years for Paquin Tower Assault

A Columbia man will spend 20 years in prison for a violent assault in 2024.
Court documents show 41-year-old Robert Bondick pleaded guilty Monday to four counts of second-degree assault.
Each carries a five-year sentence, to be served consecutively.
The charges stem from an attack on a 73-year-old woman at Paquin Tower in Columbia.
Investigators say Bondick struck the woman multiple times after an argument over loud music, leaving her with serious injuries.
Bondick will receive credit for time already served.
