The Jefferson City Council has a lone nomination for the open Second Ward seat, following the resignation of Aaron Mealy.
Attorney Cody Holt was nominated for the open seat, Mealy’s term which was set to end in 2027.
Holt is a civil defense attorney representing Dodson & Waters.
A vote could come at the City Council work session on Monday, or the council will vote at its regular meeting on April 20.
There are no other candidates for the open seat.
