Mexico City Council set to acquire Quitclaim Deed on old Hospital

The Mexico City Council set to meet in regular session on Monday night, 6pm on the 3rd Floor Council Chambers

Items to be considered will be Council Pay, a certification of General Election Results, and the Oath of Office for incumbent Steve Haag and newly elected Alexander Finck.

Then an election will be held to designate the new Mayor and Chairman Pro Tem.

After that several bills will be read for title and passage, including resolution authorizing City Manager Bruce Slagle to

— Enter into an agreement with McGrath Human Resources Group for Professional Services for a Compensation Study.

— Execute agreements with various organizations for recommended funding from the Mexico Tourism Tax.

–Enter into an agreement with the Presser Performing Arts Center to assist in providing services to citizens.

–Accept a Quitclaim Deed from Audrain County, Missouri for a New City Hall/Public Safety Facility.

–Sign Task Order No. 3 with Navigate Building Solutions, LLC for Owner Representative Services to move forward with plans for the New City Hall/Public Safety Facility which is to be built on the old Audrain Community Hospital site.

The council will also hear a Staff Report on the purchase of two (2) Patrol Vehicles for the Mexico Public Safety Department.
