Hoskins Faces Lawsuit

A new lawsuit has been filed accusing Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins of illegally firing the state’s former election integrity director after he raised concerns about alleged misconduct inside the office.

The lawsuit claims Nicholas La Strada was fired after objecting to an alleged plan to fabricate evidence for a federal hearing and an effort to overturn a certified municipal election result.

Hoskins’ office declined to comment, citing the pending litigation.

The lawsuit also alleges staff discussed using an “IP scrambler” and burner phone to conceal the source of a whistleblower complaint.

La Strada is currently overseas serving as an election observer in Bosnia.
