Fire crews in Mexico were called out late Tuesday night to a vehicle fire on the 3400 block of South Clark.
Responding personnel found A 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer was found fully engulfed in flames, with fire spreading from the interior to the engine area.
The driver told investigators she’d noticed a hot smell in recent days and saw smoke and flames under the dashboard while driving from Fulton to Paris.
She was able to pull over and get herself and her pets out safely.
The SUV was a total loss, but no one was hurt.
