A Jefferson City school bus carrying 17 students was involved in a crash Thursday morning in western Cole County.
It happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Route T and Parkview Avenue when a small SUV rear-ended the bus.
Cole County EMS says both drivers were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, along with two students who were transported in stable condition.
The remaining 15 students were not hurt and were released to school officials.
Eight ambulances responded, along with multiple agencies from across mid-Missouri due to the number of potential patients.
