Missouri’s consensus All-American running back Ahmad Hardy was shot at a concert in Mississippi over the weekend. He is currently in stable condition after undergoing surgery.according to Mizzou Athletics announced on Monday morning.
Hardy is a junior from Oma, Mississippi. He emerged as one of the best running backs in the country in his first season with the Tigers in 2025, running for an SEC-leading 1,649 yards and 16 touchdowns.
A timeline for his recovery and return to football activities was not given. Mizzou said it will provide more updates when they become available.
