College Golf
Mizzou Women’s Golf begins at the national golf tournament today. The tournament is taking place at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
This is Mizzou’s second ever berth in the women’s NCAA tournament, which will last until May 27th.

The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 last night,
Pirates right-hander Braxton Ashcraft delivered a stellar performance, striking out nine batters while giving up just one run on four hits over seven innings.
St. Louis starter Dustin May took the loss yielding four runs over 5.1 innings.
Iván Herrera provided a bright spot for the Cardinals with a solo home run in the third.
