An inmate at the women’s correctional center in Vandalia has been charged with possession of drugs in prison.
Audrain County prosecutors have charged 31-year-old Brianna McCormack of St. Louis with delivery of a controlled substance.
Probable cause statements say that the charges relate to August of 2024, when McCormack was found with 70 sublingual Suboxone strips, 8 grams of Suboxone powder, 3 Bisacodyl tablets and 4 1/2 Remeron tablets.
Her original prison sentence was in relation to drug charges.
