The Columbia Police Department has released reports regarding their Flock camera system after the past year of use.
The system generated over 5,500 total alerts during the first year. The system was officially linked to 217 criminal cases, leading to 69 arrests and 52 investigative leads.
This comes after the City of Columbia spent nearly $585,000 to install the system in Columbia in 2025. The current contract with Flock expires in 2027.
